They're In Kalgoorlie

The boys arrived in Kalgoorlie last night after crossing the Nullarbor Plain and they had a relaxing drink in the Sexchange (Exchange) Hotel where Gerard experienced the delights of the skimpy bar.   Two things he can tick off his bucket list.

Today the doing the touristy thing and have visited local towns, the Super Pit and Hannah Street.

Fat Tony Luncheon

The boys going on the Kimberley Cruise all got together with 190 friends at the Roselyn Court Homestead on Thursday the 3rd of April for the Fat Tony Luncheon.

Our MC was Sam Kekovich (North Melbourne FC great), who was supported by our guest speakers, Ross Stevenson (3AW morning show host); John Silvester, AKA "Sly of the Underworld" (Senior Crime Reporter for The Age); and that great comedian, Paul Martel.

A great day was had by all and we were privileged to have Jim Coghlan, the Victoria Police Senior Sergeant, who went to Greece for the capture of Tony Mokbel.

Kevington Getaway Camp - What Happened

Well Folks,

What a great few days away at the Kevington "Hilton" Hotel just relaxing, drinking, relaxing, drinking, and I nearly forgot, drinking.   The usual suspects failed to turn-up, but those who did had a great time.

The Captain, ably assisted by Tony "The Gas" did a magnificent job with arranging the camp, and especially the cooked breakfast each morning.   Two "R's" Garry supplied the meat and the steaks were melt in your mouth.   The only let down was that the plumber (Tony The Gas) brought the wrong gas fitting for the billy burner.   We managed to boil the billy in the camp fire, which somehow we burnt about 2 tonnes of wood in.   Probably something to do with Ronnie "The Pyromaniac" getting everyone to put two logs on every time anyone got up from their seats.

As usual, "Best On Ground" went to the Captain.   He managed to take a tumble carrying a carton of stubbies and a bag of ice.   He was all over the place, but managed to regain his composure and didn't break one.

Ronnie had a small supply of crackers and managed to scare the *@#+ out of a few of the locals.   He would have had more except the Captain told him a copper lived over the road from the pub.   Another lie Captain.

We did do a bit of hunting while we there and manage to mount our game in the pub (see the pictures below).

 Until our next merry adventure,
