The Muppet's Have Struck Again

Well, we've done it again. The Muppet's have taken over our trip.   First of all, we go to the site where JFK was shot.   They could't close the road, but the museum was closed and didn't open until midday, and we were there at 10 am.

Undaunted, and led our intrepid tour guide Tim Tobin, we drove 56 miles to Fort Worth to visit the Texas Civil War Museum.   He picked this from the tour brochures in our hotel.   Look at the following picture.   See anything odd?

Yes, the car-park is empty.   The don't open on Mondays.   It was then that Tim decided to read the brochure to check the opening hours.

Let's have a bit of retail therapy then.   So off to do some shopping at Wal-Mart.   Cirelli buys some shirts and a hat to protect his balding head.   Gets in the car and realizes that he didn't pay for the hat which was still on his head with the tag hanging out.   Now we have a thieving Muppet.

All is not lost though, and off to dinner at Truluck's Steak, Seafood and Crab House in uptown Dallas.   The best meal we've had so far.   Two pounds of Dutch Harbour King Crab Legs each.   The same ones you see on the 'World's Deadliest Catch'.

Leave in the morning for the 800 kilometre trip to New Orleans.   12.30 am now so we're all off to bed.
