Las Vegas To Los Angeles

Hi Folks,

Up early and an 8 am departure from the Encore for our last big drive of the holiday, Las Vegas to Los Angeles, a distance of 289 miles.

Tony was feeling a lot better and as the saying goes, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.   Just so happens that just about everything he's had to eat and drink over the last few days is staying in Vegas.

Wasn't long before Brian was enjoying the sights again.   This time it was from he poverty section as he'd been relegated there by Cirelli.
We stopped at Bun Boys Diner in Baker for breakfast and Tony managed to eat and keep down, dry toast and a cup of tea.   The other piglets managed to eat their usual eggs, ham, hash browns and toast, or the three pancakes with three scoops of ice-cream.   Contact their tailor's ladies to have their clothes let out.

Brian reclaimed his place in the Penthouse after breakfast and was soon enjoying the sights again.
It wasn't long before we were descending into the San Bernardino Valley and hazy Los Angeles.   We arrived at the Holiday Inn at LAX about 2 pm and went to our rooms for a few hours relaxation.

About 6.30, Andy, an old mate of George's who now lives in LA, came and picked us up and took us for a few beers at Mo's Sports Bar & Grill.

We then walked over the road and had dinner at Caffe Pinguini Italian Restaurant.   A nice Italian meal.   Andy dropped us back at the hotel and after a couple of beers in the bar, off to bed now.

Regards,
The DMTC
