Our 2nd Day In Chicago

Hi Folks,

Our 'Chicago Grand Half Day City Sights Tour' today.   Picked up from our hotel at 11.15am and taken to the starting point where they mucked around for 45 minutes before we got going.

The first two hours took us through the southern areas of Chicago and we were "LUCKY" enough to see:- President Obama's Chicago home (if you count looking at trees around the property); where he first kissed Michelle (the place, not where on her body); where they bought their pizzas; and where he had his haircut.   The only thing we didn't see was where he went to the toilet.   Would you believe it, the barber's chair has been moved to the Smithsonian Institute.   Who cares?

Back to the starting point to do the next two hours through the northern areas.   For some anyway.   Half of us had had enough and got off the coach.

The 'UNLUCKY' ones who stayed on the coach were like dogs who'd been tied up all day without food or water, we were just so happy it was all over.   A few pictures of our ordeal:-

These are houses opposite Wrigley Field, their baseball field.   Look closely and you can see seating that has been built on the roofs.   The profits from these are shared between the club and the building's owner's.
